Pears, as in Bosc, not . . .
Pears are wonderful... except when they go bad. They get squishy and when you cut them they're slimy inside. It's like they decompose and turn into snails. Without the shell. Apples, on the other hand, go hard. Or soft as the case may be. To defend yourself against these fruits, watch Monty Python's "Self Defence Class" (available in Blockbuster or from your friendly neighbourhood UWO user)
