Turkeys and Pie
For all you out there who celebrate Thanksgiving, you all know the massive importance of turkey and pumpkin pie to the celebrations. This is why it never made sense to me all those year when my grandmother served up ham and chicken. Is turkey not better than chicken? I personally would go with turkey most days of the week. Then why is turkey always reserved for Thanksgiving? And cranberry sauce too. Maybe it's one of those: It's only stays special if you eat it every so often, kinda deals.
It's like with Krispy Kremes. When they were in the US, Canadians ate them only once in a while, but now that they're so readily available, Krispy Kreme is actually losing money because they're not the novelty they used to be anymore. Hence, why turkey and pumpkin pie are only available Thanksgiving.
