Glitter and Be Gay
If you haven't heard this song, from Bernstein's opera "Candide", run out to your local music library (Torontonians - check out the TRL - sixth floor) and grab a copy! It is sung by Cunegonde, and Coloratura Soprano, and it very funny and beautiful!
I'm "working on an assignment for Vocal Methods, and it involved listening to two mezzos. So I'm listening to music, just not the mezzos. I was fortunate enough to find a Renee Fleming CD from when she was a mezzo, so I'll listen to that later.
I will hopefully be going riding with Jen tomorrow and whomever else I can recruit ;)
